Meet Jacob L. Ratzan
Mr. Ratzan is a Florida Bar Board Certified Specialist in Immigration and Nationality Law and Chair of Packman, Neuwahl, and Rosenberg, P.A.’s Immigration Practice Group.
Mr. Ratzan earned a Bachelor degree in International Relations from Tufts University in 1997 and a Juris Doctorate from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2005. Mr. Ratzan was admitted to the Florida Bar and New York Bar in 2006, and to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida in 2007.
In 2014-2015, Mr. Ratzan served as President of the South Florida Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). He has also served as Chair of the AILA South Florida-USCIS Liaison Committee (2011-14, 2019-20), Chair of the AILA South Florida CBP Committee (2020-21), and Chair of the Florida Bar Immigration and Nationality Law Board Certification Committee (2020-21). Currently, Mr. Ratzan is a member of the AILA National CBP Committee.
Mr. Ratzan has participated as a panelist at many immigration law seminars, and has published articles on immigration law. Mr. Ratzan has spent time living in Spain and Chile, and is fluent in Spanish.
