President Trump extends Presidential Proclamations 10014 & 10052 through March 31, 2021

On December 31, 2020, the President signed a Presidential Proclamation on Suspension of Entry of Immigrants and Nonimmigrants Who Continue to Present a Rik to the United States Labor Market. This proclamation extends Presidential Proclamations 10014 and 10052 through March 31, 2021. Presidential Proclamation 10014 suspends the entry to the United States of certain nonimmigrant visa applicants including certain H-1B, L-1, and J-1 visa holders. President-Elect Joe Biden will be inaugurated on January 20, 2021, and once he is in office, he has the ability to terminated any of the previous Presidential Proclamations. Therefore, it is possible the travel bans may terminated prior to March 31, 2021.
